Player Rules


In order to play Exoborne you must follow the rules laid out in the User Agreement. Below you will find a paraphrased and shortened version of Section 7. Player Conduct, which we hope will provide an non-exhaustive overview of the rules we expect everyone to adhere to.

Cheating: Create or use unauthorized software or hardware to gain advantage, including:

     Cheat engines.

     Any system designed to provide an unfair advantage, such as Aimbot, Wallhacks, Item-magnet, etc.

     Trainers or automation programs that manipulate gameplay.
 

Unauthorized Services: Use or provide services not offered by us, such as:

     Self-hosting or mirroring our servers.

     "Leveling" services that artificially boost player progress.

     Mods, hacks, cheats, bots, or any automated controls that interact with the Services.

 

Transfer of Content: Sell, rent, lease, license, distribute, or otherwise transfer the Services, Game, or any Content, including:

     Virtual Goods (in-game items and cosmetics).

     Game Currency.

     Participation in secondary markets (like trading or selling items outside of the game).
 

Modification and Reverse Engineering: Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, adapt, translate, decompile, or disassemble the Services or any Content, including creating derivative works.

Circumventing Protection: Remove, disable, circumvent, or modify any technological measures we implement to protect the Services or their associated property.

Security Breaches: Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services, or breach any security or authentication measures without prior authorization.

User Content Standards: Upload or transmit any User Content that:

     Violates laws or regulations (e.g., promoting illegal activities).

     Is fraudulent, false, misleading, or deceptive (e.g., spreading rumors).

     Is grossly harmful, racially or ethnically objectionable, or offensive (e.g., hate speech).

     Promotes discrimination, hatred, or harassment against any individual or group.

     Is violent, bullying, or threatening (e.g., threats of violence).

     Promotes illegal or harmful activities or substances (e.g., drug trafficking).
 

Disruptive Behavior: Engage in behavior that disrupts the game or community, including:

     Harassment, use of abusive language or hate speech.

     Targeted harassment (e.g., stream sniping).

     Social engineering or scamming.

     Abuse of in-game marketplace including price gouging and market manipulation.
 

Impersonation: Misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity, or deceive others about the origin of your messages.

Gatekeeping and Misinformation: Engage in ‘gatekeeping’ behaviors or ‘back-seat moderation’ within the game or community by way of preventing others from feeling welcome.
 

Encouragement of Violations: Encourage, promote, or enable anyone else to do any of the above.

 

Failure to adhere to the above rules and those outlined in the User Agreement may result in action being taken on your account. Our decision in these matters is final.
